リサイタルによせて
現在、私の吹奏する曲目は尺八古典本曲が主体となっています。この理由は、数々の有名無名の先達が吹き続け、伝承されてきた古典本曲が機能美、構成美に優れ、吹けぱ吹くほどその厳しさ、敬慶さに私自身が魅入られるからに他なりません。もともとは修行のために吹かれたそれらの曲を舞台上で音楽として演奏するためには、更なる模索と覚悟が必要です。今回は様式や伝承の違う七つの曲に対し、七本の尺八で取り組むことにしました。それぞれの曲が辿ってきた歴程に思いを馳せ、湧き出ずる想念を竹管に託したいと考えております。皆様のご来場をお待ちしております。

Today,classic honkyoku pieces are the music I mainly perform. These masterpieces have been played by the countless famous/anonymous shakuhachi players by now; what fascinates us is the structural beauty of the composition, which requires a highly a㏄omplished technique.
We have to have more trial and preparation to presen these tunes on the stage, as they used to be a way to achieve the state of zen, not music.
For this recital, I chose to play seven honkyoku pieces, using different shakuhachi to each tune. I desire my thoughts to gush out directly in the sound I create.IshikawaToshimitsu
